Max Ackermann
1887 - 1975
Komposition 2. 1933.
Oil on fibreboard.
Signed and dated in the lower right corner. Signed, titled, and inscribed “Stuttgart Horn” in block letters on the reverse. 19 x 29.7 cm (7.4 x 11.6 in). [AW].

PROVENANCE: Private collection, Berlin (since 1978).

LITERATURE: Hauswedell & Nolte, Hamburg, 227th auction, June 1, 1978, lot 2.

In good condition. Partially with studio marks. The outer edges of the picture are slightly scuffed in places. The lower right corner has a small loss of the wooden panel, and there are also small missing areas along the upper edge of the picture. Due to the nature of the material, the surface has very faint and small tears. The condition report was prepared in daylight and with the aid of a UV light source to the best of our knowledge and belief.
For information concerning the condition, please view the high resolution image / backside image.
