• Expressive work with striking lines and colors.
Heinrich Richter-Berlin is co-founder of the “Neue Secession” and, in 1918, of the “Novembergruppe” in Berlin.
• He designed numerous woodcuts for the expressionist magazine “Der Sturm.”
• In addition to painting, the artist also worked intensively as a film architect and on theater productions.
• Part of an important Berlin private collection for almost 50 years
.

In good condition. The edges of the painting are rubbed, with isolated areas of minor color loss. With slight craquelure. Increased in the outer edge areas with expertly executed retouching. The condition report was prepared in daylight and with the aid of a UV light source to the best of our knowledge and belief.
