Signed. From an edition of 275 copies on this type of paper (edition at Richter 1919). On firm wove paper (without watermark). 44.5 x 58.5 cm (17.5 x 23 in). Sheet: 50,7 x 68 cm (19,9 x 26,7 in).
With a stamp on the reverse (“MBJ” in capital letters inside a circle). [AR].

PROVENANCE: Private collection, southern Germany.

LITERATURE: Alexandra von dem Knesebeck, Käthe Kollwitz. Werkverzeichnis der Graphik, vol. 2, 1914-1942, Bern 2002, CR no. 140 I c (of II).

In good condition. Two to three small brown spots and minor soiling in the white margins of the sheet, probably from the studio. The paper is slightly wavy and has a few faint handling marks.
