Pencil- and color pen drawing.
Lower center monogrammed, dated "22 6 72", titled as well as inscribed "Minusio" and "IIIII" bezeichnet. On brownish wove paper. 23.5 x 34.3 cm (9.2 x 13.5 in), the full sheet [AW].

• The work was created in the summer of 1972 during a trip by Horst Janssen through the Swiss Alps, to Ticino, and on to Minusio in Italy.
• The work is dedicated to the artist's mother, Gesche Tietjens, an important companion throughout his life.
• Horst Janssen is considered one of the most outstanding and prolific draftsmen and graphic artists of the 20th century
.
