Assemblage. Suizcase, knife, taxidermised exotic birds, leather straps etc. on a wooden plate and under plexiglass.
Signed, dated "Moulin Boyard 1975 -> 27.III.76" and titled on the reverse. 115 x 62.5 x 18 cm (45.2 x 24.6 x 7 in).
• Signed on March 27, the artist's birthday.
• This characteristic assemblage is offered on the international art market for the first time.
• Along with artists such as Yves Klein and Jean Tinguely, Daniel Spoerri is a co-founder of “Nouveau Réalisme.”
• Other works by the artist can be found in, among others, the Tate Britain, London, and the Hamburger Kunsthalle.
Accompanied by a certificate issued by Barbara Räderscheidt, Hardersdorf am Kamp, dated June 2, 2025. The work will be included in the forthcoming catalogue raisonné.
