Landschaftswirbel (Profil-Serie). 1964.
Pencil drawing.
Signed in the lower right. Verso dated (1964/5), titled as well as with the dimensions “90/63”. On off-white Schoeller wove paper (with blindstamp). 90.2 x 62.5 cm (35.5 x 24.6 in), size of sheet.
The signature and writing on the reverse suggest a portrait format, whereas in Wieland Schmied's catalogue raisonné mentions the work as a landscape format and with the signature in the lower left. [AR].

• Privately owned for more than 50 years.
• The work of this important German Surrealist is characterized by ambiguous forms in misty pictorial worlds.
