Signed, dated, titled, and inscribed "Erzählung einer Indianer-Mumie". On mold-made Ingres paper (with the watermark). 48.3 x 31 cm (19 x 12.2 in), the full sheet. [AW].

Private collection, North Rhine-Westphalia (acquired from the above in 198; inherited in 2025).

LITERATURE: Kunsthaus Lempertz, Cologne, 619th auction, May 29, 1987, lot 100 (b/w illu. on plate 45).

Good overall impression. Edgesw with small, isolated losses and splits.With creases along the lower margin, as well as with a small split (ca. 2cm). Upper margin with tiny pinholes and notches. Rubbed in places.
