Not in Schapire. Gerlinger H 11-3. Numbered printer's note "1/1 gedruckt am 22.8.94 von Gunter Ullrich" in lower margin. Unique object. On Japon. 31.2 x 23 cm (12.2 x 9 in). Sheet: 49,6 x 38 cm (19,5 x 14,9 in).
Posthumous single print of SHG no. 81: two-sided wooden printing block, 1911. Side a) Mädchen mit aufgestemmten Armen (Schapire H 56); Side b) Dorf. Not in Schapire. Gerlinger H 11-3. [KT].
• Only known print from the two-sided wooden printing block, which is also part of the Gerlinger Collection.
• The strong structure of the composition shows the influence of Cubism.

The sheet is registered in the archive of the Karl and Emy Schmidt-Rottluff Foundation Berlin.

In good condition. Paper trimmed in right and lower margin. Isolated faint handling creases and faint traces of creasing in the lower margin outside the image. Paper mounting running along left margin on the reverse slightly pushing through to recto. Isolated tiny, barely visible brown stains outside the image, one tiny brown stain in the image.
