Lower right signed and described as "self-made" print. With the Basel estate stamp on the reverse. One of three known copies from this printing state. On laid paper. 33.6 x 24.9 cm (13.2 x 9.8 in). 41,1 x 32,3 cm (16,14 x 12,59 in).

PROVENANCE: Private collection Southern Germany (acquired in 1970, ever since family-owned).

LITERATURE: Günther Gercken, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner. Kritisches Werkverzeichnis der Druckgraphik, vol. 3. (1912-1916), Bern 2015, no. 830 (illu.) (Dube R. 209, Schiefler R. 199).

In good condition. The margins slightly irregularly trimmed. Upper left sheet corner slightly frayed. Lower left with a small tear (approx. 1 cm), not affecting the image.
