• Tearing the paper away layer by layer, Asger Jorn reveals an imaginative motif that straddles the line between abstraction and figuration.
• “Spontaneity and expressiveness”: the stated goal of the “CoBrA” artist group, which Jorn co-founded in 1948.
• Created in the 1960s, when the artist was intensively exploring the “décollage” technique.
