• Since the 1970s, Sighard Gille has been one of the leading artists to shape Leipzig School.
• This complex work in Realism with touches of Surrealism was a commission for the the cable factory Oberspree.
• From 1974 to 1976, Gille was a master student of Bernhard Heisig at the German Academy of Arts in East Berlin.
• Professorship at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig from 1992 to 2006.
• Sighard Gille's works can be found in renowned museums, including the Neue Nationalgalerie, Berlin, the Berlinische Galerie, and the Galerie Neuer Meister, Dresden.

In good condition, with strong colors. Isolated small soiled spots, mainly in the lower area. Some small isolated over-painted spots, presumably by the artist. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the help of a UV light source and to the best of our knowledge and belief.
