• Painting as action: the spontaneity in Helmut Sturm's creative process becomes the central subject of the painting.
• In 1985, Sturm took over the chair of Günter Fruhtrunk at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich (until 1998).
PROVENANCE: Private collection, South Germany (acquired from the artist).
Private collection, Rhineland-Palatinate (since 2021, acquired from the above).
EXHIBITION: Galerie Helmut Leger, Munich (with the stamp on the reverse of the frame).
In good condition. With isolated spots of minimal color loss around the edges. With isolated hairline drycracks. A small hole in the supporting material in the upper edge of the image. The condition report was compiled in daylight and with the help of a UV light source to the best of knowledge and belief.
