• Combining text and image, Raymond Pettibon draws inspiration from art history, literature, science and popular culture.
• In 2017, the Bonnefantenmuseum in Maastricht dedicated a comprehensive retrospective to the artist, and in 2002 he took part in Documenta 11.
• His works are represented at, among others, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Museo Nacional Reina Sofia in Madrid, the Tate in London and the Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum für Gegenwart in Berlin.
