• Particularly balanced combination of dynamic gesture and contemplative color fields.
• The artist participated in documenta 1 (1955), documenta II (1959), and documenta III (1964) in Kassel.
• As early as the 1950s, works by Winters were shown in two exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art, New York.

In good condition. With two small brownish stains in the center of the right side of the image. A few brownish spots in the center of the image. Partially lightly rubbed and partially lightly browned in the outer margins. The sheet edges partially scuffed and with slight rubbing. Overall lightly warped and with partially faint crease marks. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the help of a UV light source and to the best of our knowledge and belief.
