• Idyllic landscape depiction from the sought-after 1990s.
• Using recurrent motifs like the geometric red roofs between gentle clouds and lush green hills, SALVO time and again probed the nature of painting and the creative powers of light.
• As of around 1995, he was particularly inspired by the landscapes of the Gulf of Policastro and the Po Valley around Monviso.
• His works are part of international museum collections such as the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Museo d'Arte Moderna di Bologna or the Klassik Stiftung, Weimar.
• Up until May 25, 2025, the Pinacoteca Agnelli in Turin shows a comprehensice SALVO solo show.
Accompanied by a photo expertise issued by the Archivio Salvo, Turin. The work is registered at the archie with the number "S1996-58".
Additionally accompanied by a signed photograph of the work (with a label of Galerie Studio d'arte Raffaelli, Trient, on the reverse).

In good condition. Clouds and sky (blue) with isolated brownish spots and tiny traces that originate from the making. The condition report was compiled in daylight with help of an ultravioet light source and to the best of our knowledge and belief.
