• A particularly vibrant watercolor from the sought-after Davos period.
• Watercolors of this chromatic intensity are extremely rare on the international auction market.
• After Kirchner's move to Switzerland, the mountainous landscape around his new home became his most important source of inspiration.
• The painting Landschaft Sertigtal (Landscape Sertig Valley, 1924), closely related in terms of motif, is on permanent loan from the Merzbacher Collection at the Kunsthaus Zürich).

Colorful and detailed depiction in very good condition. The upper edge of the sheet is slightly irregular. There are small creases in the corners and at the top edge of the sheet. There is minimal craquelure in some places. Small studio mark at the bottom of the sheet.
