• The female nude is a recurring motif in Otto Müller's work.
• Expressive juxtaposition of light and dark by this important “Brücke” artist.
• Mueller is one of the most important representatives of German Expressionism.

In good condition. With three barely noticeable vertical creases and slight compressions in the lateral sheet margins, which do not impair the overall impression. The upper right and left sheet corners have been professionally backed. A small professionally restored blemish in the upper right sheet margin.
