PROVENANCE: Private collection, Southern Germany.

LITERATURE: Margarethe Jochimsen, Pia Dornacher, Heimrad Prem. Retrospective and catalogue raisonné, Munich 1995, no. 1098 (illu. in b/w).

Condition after restoration: With minimal scratches in the upper half along the frame caused by the framing, and with a few small areas of minimal paint loss. Upper left corner with a small paint loss that has been expertly restored. The condition report was compiled in daylight and with the aid of an ultraviolet light source to the best of our knowledge and belief.
