Based on the paintig "La Musicienne" from 1929. [MH/JS].

• In 2018, a painting with the same motif, “La Musicienne”, sold in New York for 8 million euros, at the time the highest price ever paid at auction for a work by the artist.
• Lempicka's sophisticated Art Deco style masterfully combines influences from Cubism and the New Objectivity.

Good overall impression. With mount staining. With slight traces of rubbing and retouching, primarily in the area of the skirt and the forearm. Paper with superficial blemishes and framing-related rubbing, creasing and signs of wear around the edges. Mounted on backing board.
