The authenticity of the present work has been confirmed by the artist and bears the work number "C/40". We are grateful for the kind support in cataloging this lot.

LITERATURE: Sotheby's, London, 12021st auction, February 16, 2012, lot 305 (illu. in color on p. 254).

In good condition with beautiful colors. With isolated traces from the making and with traces of rubbing, predominantly in the outer margins. Slightly soiled in places, particularly in the lower right margin of the image. The canvas slightly irregular due to the stretcher in the upper right corner. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the help of an ultraviolet light and to the best of knowledge.
