In a condition consistent with its age. Somewhat more browned in the mount section. The margins partly with small losses and professionally restored tears. The lower right corner of the sheet professionally mended. The upper margin with tears (up to 80 mm) which have been professionally restored and backed. A tear in the center of the upper margin, which extends into the image, also professionally closed and backed in the vertical margin, a further small horizontal paper tear with a tiny loss. A few small brown spots in lower right, probably from the creation. Despite the previously described condition, this unique sheet captivates with its strong colors of red and black applied in a monotype-like manner and the sovereign design with just a few lines. [EH]
